ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Chloe Black, a tattoo artist based in Caerphilly, currently working at Nu Rose Tattoos.

 

With a strong foundation in art from an early age, my training began in realism, with a particular focus on portraiture and life drawing. I began my tattoo journey in 2008, applying this artistic background to build a long-standing and fulfilling career.

 

Over the years, I have become an award-winning tattoo artist, working at conventions across the UK and tattooing in studios throughout Wales, forming lasting friendships and professional relationships along the way.

 

My work is now focused on black and grey realism with portraiture at its core. This style reflects my passion for detail, accuracy, and timeless imagery.

 

Away from the studio, I continue to engage with art through painting, drawing, art history, and visiting museums. Outside the world of art, you’ll usually find me reading Sherlock Holmes stories, watching horror films, planning my next travel adventures, and occasionally indulging in a little too much chocolate and cake...
